At Kalkreuth Roofing, we take the issues of employee/job safety and compliance very seriously. Our Safety Coordinator is responsible for four major areas:
w Safety
w Compliance
w Licensing
w Disadvantaged Business Participation (MBE/WBE)
Safety
The Coordinator oversees all Kalkreuth safety activities: conducting in-house safety training for the company's field personnel; serving as the company's on-site safety coordinator as requested by building owners; and performing safety audits at all Kalkreuth job sites.
Compliance
Kalkreuth Roofing's compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and the EEOC is also one of the Coordinator's primary responsibilities. He handles all the appropriate federal and state regulation paperwork to ensure the company is fully compliant with these agencies.
Licensing
Additionally, the Coordinator handles the application/maintenance of licensing for lead removal and asbestos abatement. Currently the company holds an asbestos abatement license in the states of West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland and Virginia. Lead removal applications have been filed for the state of Virginia.
Disadvantaged Business Participation
Kalkreuth Roofing is also able to satisfy any contract which requires disadvantaged business participation by its subcontractors.
