The Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is just 32 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. While serving over 27 million passengers, BWI Marshall Airport is the busiest airport in the region. It’s also named after the first African-American Supreme Court Justice – Thurgood Marshall. Not only was the BWI Marshall Airport B/C Connector constructed to connect concourses B and C, but it also brought BWI up to prescribed capacity and operational standards.
